*Pre-K Registration Update*
Pre-registration for 2025-2026 Pre-K will begin online starting February 24, 2025.
Registration appointments are March 18 - April 17, 2025
Our objective is to make the enrollment process as smooth as possible. New student enrollment must complete the online pre-enrollment forms. All re-enrollments and changes of address within Pennsauken are handled at the Registration/Residency Office by appointment only.
Registration/Residency forms can be found and downloaded under the corresponding link located in the sidebar. Forms can also be picked up from our office during office hours.
Children who are 3 or 4 years old on or before October 1, 2025 are eligible for the full-day Pre-Kindergarten program. You will be notified regarding the status of your application shortly after the registration period concludes.
Only parents or legal guardians may register a student, register here. Please bring all completed registration forms and affidavits with you to your scheduled appointment. To expedite the process, please ensure that all forms are completely filled out and signed. Any missing documents will result in the need to reschedule your appointment.

Registration forms cannot be dropped off, faxed, or mailed to the office.
Paperwork
All registrations must complete the forms below. Bring all the required registration forms, residency affidavits, and other documentation to your appointment.
Student Paperwork:
- Child’s original birth certificate with a raised seal;
- A copy of their most recent immunization records (a copy of the Student Health Record A-45 form from the previous school is acceptable);
- A transfer card from the child’s previous school;
- The most recent report card and/or progress report and test scores;
- A physical examination is required for all students;
- If applicable, a copy of custody papers;
- If your child is classified by the Child Study Team, a copy of the most recent IEP is required at registration.
Proofs of Residency:
- Residency Affidavits plus two legitimate proofs of residency.
- All parents must have a valid, unexpired non-driver id or a driver’s license. Forms A, A1 and C (if being used) must be notarized.
1. For Property Owners:
- Tax Bill, Property Deed, Mortgage, Settlement Papers.
- No Certificates of Occupancy will be accepted.
2. For Renters:
- Signed lease (if applicable)
- Notarized FORM C from the owner/landlord, stating who he or she is renting to, the address of the property being rented, how many children live there (names must be included on the bottom), and he or she must circle if there is or is not a written lease.
(The property owner’s full name, current address, and phone number must also be provided or the form is considered incomplete.)
- Notarized FORM A-1 from the parent/guardian. The names of each student and the child’s relation to you must be provided. Two legitimate proofs of address must be submitted (see form A-1). THE LEASE IS NOT USED AS PROOF OF ADDRESS.
3. If Living With Someone Who Is A Homeowner:
- Parent/Guardian living with the homeowner must provide a notarized Form A-1. The names of each student and the child’s relation to you must be provided. Two (2) legitimate proofs of address must be submitted with this form (see Form A-1).
- Owner must provide a Notarized Form A along with proof of ownership (see #1).
4. If Living With Someone Who Is A Renter:
- Parent/Guardian living with the renter must provide a Notarized FORM A-1. The names of each student and the child’s relation to you must be provided. Two legitimate proofs of address must be submitted with this form (see Form A-1). THE LEASE IS NOT USED AS PROOF OF ADDRESS.
- Renter must provide a Notarized Form A as proof that the child(ren) and parent/guardian(s) live with him or her.
- Notarized Form C from the owner/landlord, stating who he or she is renting to, the address of the property being rented, and how many children live there (must include renter’s children and the children of the person who is staying there.) All names must be included on the bottom, acknowledging that he/she knows you are living there with your children. The landlord/owner must circle if there is or is not a written lease.

Report Registration Fraud
Do you know of a student attending Pennsauken Public Schools who you know or suspect does not live in Pennsauken?
BOE Policy 5111 states, The Board shall admit students eligible to attend school free of charges that are domiciled within the district as defined in N.J.A.C. 6A:22-3.1.
To ensure that only eligible students are attending our school district, we welcome and encourage the help of all stakeholders. We request that all community residents, school district employees, and students provide us with as much information as you can. All calls will be kept confidential.

When you call, please be prepared to give the following information to the best of your knowledge:
- Name of the student you are reporting;
- Name of the school the student is attending;
- The grade and/or age of the student if known (or approximate);
- Actual state/town the student lives in;
- Any other information that causes you to suspect fraud.
Definition of Domicile:
In a strict and legal sense, that is properly the domicile of a person where he has his true, fixed, permanent home and principal establishment, and to which, whenever he is absent, he has the intention of returning.
